International President John Costa attends the New Jersey State Council's annual golf outing.

More than 90 golfers from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC, hit the course today for the New Jersey State Council's annual golf outing, and International President John Costa was proud to be right there with them, raising funds for transit workers.

"I served as Chair of the New Jersey State Council in 2008, before becoming International Vice President," said Costa. "This council shaped who I am as a union leader. It's always special to come back and see how strong it is today. This Council keeps our Locals connected, and our fight for transit workers strong across the state I'm from and love. Thanks to all the Locals and members who came out today."

Huge thanks to NJ State Council Chair Orlando Riley for his leadership in bringing our Union together, and to International Vice Presidents Ray Greaves and Mark Henry for attending in support!
