Day Two of ATU Steward Training in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee

It was another powerful day of learning and solidarity at the ATU Steward Training in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee! It was incredible to see Stewards coming together from Tennessee, North Carolina, Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia, and Alabama to strengthen our Union and sharpen their skills to advocate for workers' rights.

As International President, John Costa, reminded us as he closed out the training: “The true power of our Union comes from our unity. When we stand together, we’ve got the strength to demand not just better wages and working conditions, but the respect we’ve earned as workers. Knowledge is power, and you’re all dangerous now. Every sacrifice you make, every hour you put in—it all counts. What you do every single day is shaping our history and our future. Without your dedication, none of this is possible."
Costa was also joined at the training by International Executive Vice President Yvette Trujillo, Secretary Treasurer Ken Kirk, and International Vice Presidents Gary Johnson, Natalie Cruz, Anthony Garland, and Amanda Sawyer-Turner.

Stewards are the backbone of our Union. Under President Costa’s leadership, the ATU is committed to ensuring that each of you has the tools to make a real difference in the workplace and our members’ lives.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue building a stronger ATU!
