60th Convention

Why Attend the 60th Convention?

Every three years the ATU holds a General Convention as pursuant to the ATU Constitution and General Laws. The ATU 60th International Convention will be held at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV, from September 19-23, 2022. One third of the delegates elected by Locals must be present at the convention to constitute a quorum for the business to take place.

Important business takes place at the Convention regarding amending and adopting the laws and policies of the ATU. At the Convention, delegates will elect the International Officers – International President, International Executive Vice President, International Secretary-Treasurer, and International Vice Presidents.

It is essential that all of our local unions and Joint Bargaining Councils recognize the importance of the Convention and arrange for delegates to represent their Local at the Convention.

Caesars Entertainmentproperties inLas Vegas are using technology to enhance the guest experience with Ivy, a 24-hour virtual concierge service.

After check-in, guests who have provided a cell phone number for their reservation receive a welcome message from Ivy encouraging them to text her with any questions or requests. Ivy can book dining, entertainment and spa experiences and facilitate housekeeping and maintenance requests. Ivy also surveys guests during their stay, which allows for quick recovery of unsatisfied guests in real time. Users may opt out of receiving messages from Ivy at any time.
