Emblazoned with tagline "We’re Ridin’ with Ossoff and Warnock" and wrapped with photos of Jon Ossoff, Reverend Raphael Warnock, along with President-elect Joe Biden, Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, voting rights activist Stacey Abrams, former President Barack Obama, and ATU International President John Costa, the bus will caravan across the state until election day on January 5.

GA Bus Back“We’re Ridin’ with Ossoff and Warnock. The ATU Ossoff-Warnock Express Bus will be rolling across the state to safe social distanced rallies and other events with a few surprise guests,” said Costa. “This runoff election will determine the balance of power in the Senate. The ATU will be out in full force mobilizing our members, riders and the public to vote for Ossoff and Warnock in this critical election.”

ATU Georgia bus drivers, train operators and other transit workers will be flooding transit centers to encourage riders to get out and vote in this critical election. The ATU has launched an aggressive member to member program with direct mail pieces and digital campaigns targeting the thousands of ATU Georgia members. The ATU is also participating in the AFL-CIO’s virtual phone banks aimed at reaching out to union households in key areas of Georgia to ask for their support of Ossoff and Warnock to flip the U.S. Senate and elect a pro-worker majority.

“The ATU is supporting Ossoff and Warnock not only because we know how important these races are to the future of the Senate, but because Ossoff and Warnock are champions for working families and transit,” said Costa. “As Senators, they will bring working people’s concerns to Washington, like hazard pay for essential workers, and invest in transportation and good jobs for ATU members.”

Early voting runs December 14th to December 31st and Election day is Tuesday, January 5th.
