Talks are continuing between Butte schools and the bus driver's union.
The ongoing mediation talks are between the Butte School District and the Amalgamated Transit Union, which represents 32 bus drivers.
Butte Schools Superintendent Chuck Uggetti says that one of the issues still under discussion is the union's request for a 6.35% increase on base pay.
He says the school district could make an offer on wages, but the union will have to compromise on other issues.
