Lowery unanimously re-elected local president

Members of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1395 unanimously supported Michael Lowery this week in his bid for a fourth term as the union's president and business agent.
Lowery represents about 800 workers. That includes Escambia County Area Transit bus and trolley operators and mechanics; paratransit drivers and mechanics at Pensacola Bay Transportation; blue-collar classified workers for the Escambia County Commission; and school bus drivers and mechanics in Santa Rosa County.
