The ATU is the leading advocate for transit workers on the national level. Through lobbying and grassroots advocacy, the ATU advances the interests of our members by promoting legislation to increase investment in public transportation, protect the safety and security of our members, enhance employee rights at the workplace, expand access to health care, and otherwise advance the cause of ATU members and all working men and women.
